keep knocking

sophomore year of college is slowly approaching
20 more days until i move in and 25 more days until classes begin!
what a trip

i'm glad i'm not in high school to deal with stupid crap
people need to grow up and learn to deal with situations in a mature manner so as to not cause those same situations to evolve into awkward ones.
deal with it and move on.
that's all i have to say about that.

anyways, music speaks on friday was grrrrrreat
i'm very happy that i decided to go! i'm still waiting on some "professional" pictures; i hope they are uploaded and online soon :)
i got to see quest crew perform, which i was most excited for! you can see, or hear, for yourself in this video of only a part of their performance



saturday was also a delightful day
ventured into asian townnn for about 3 hours with tiffany to buy delectable foods!
and tiffanie was surprised, even though it was a little chaotic getting it all ready right before she arrived. playeeeeed fun games with people and ate and jumped in the jumper (but not for long enough!)
a goal of yesterday was to get a jumping polaroid picture inside the jumper but i failed on that. there's always next time though

this upcoming week should be gooood! plans to visit HH and go to a taping of ABDC again. yay!

china has only 1 time zone. that's pretty crazy to think about. i mean the united states has 4, or 6 including hawaii and alaska. china is so freaking huge, how can it only have a single time zone? it has about a sixth of the world's population too. i just find it interesting i guess. yayy for being chinese! i want to visit china one day

that is so true.
it's probably the biggest lie i've told countless times
sometimes it feels like it makes things easier that way
but, of course, that is definitely not the case.

my florida trip was good
day 1: plane rides and relaxing at my uncle's house
day 2: went to st. augustine, the oldest city in america!
day 3: drive to orlando; islands of adventure, which is a part of universal studios; overnight stay in orlando
day 4: disneyworld's animal kingdom; back to jacksonville
day 5: shopping at outlets!
day 6: drove to savannah, georgia; ate at paula deen's restaurant and walked around the city
day 7: jacksonville beach and more shopping
day 8: plane rides back home :)

it was an eventual trip for sure. it was nice to get away but i missed california and home very much so. there was wayyy too much rain dropping down for the summer time but that's what you get for being in florida. thankfully hurricane bill's path was not towards florida or i could have been stuck there for a while.

the last time i blogged was about a week and a half ago! it feels too long
summer continues to be swell
still got some plans left for it!

today, i basically hung out with aj rafael for a couple hours at cerritos regional park as he was trying to sell tickets for music speaks. really random, not gonna lie. i also saw him again at cerritos mall a couple hours after that. it's like we were stalking him, however, that was definitely not the case! he was nice! and i got to take a photo with him as well.
i really wanted to go to Internation Secret Agents or ISA but it's all sold out now. boo :( at least i'm going to music speaks now so that makes up for it, somewhat.

anywayyyyyyys, i need to bust out a bracelet for my stepdad because he asked for one for his birthday (which is today) and barely started on it. he has a giant wrist too. awesomeeee, time to work!

today's fun fact is:
you have to play ping pong for 12 hours to lose 1 pound
geeez, that's a lot of table tennis action! i feel like i would get bored of playing it after probably 30 minutes. it can only be so exciting, but that's mostly due to the fact that i suck at it. sports are just not for me.

boooooooo to that. they told me to sleep! i guess i should try to sleep soon but i have this feeling that i will be failing greatly at it. my eyes do feel heavy though at the moment.

seals only sleep 1 and 1/2 minutes at a time. wow, that must suck! you can't even call that sleeping. it's more like resting the eyes. i'm glad i'm not a seal. but then, they are probably accustomed to it.

so, finally, my summer school class is about to come to an end. thank goooooodness. i'm relieved for sure. i just need to take my last exam and BAM! i will be done :)
no more american history. i can't believe i read so many pages on history from reconstruction to almost present time. intenseeee
i need to start studying for this finishing touch though! i didn't really study for the second one and didn't do as well as i would have liked in comparison to my stellar performance on the first exam. oh well, i should still be getting an A in this class! yayyy, that makes me happy and not feel like taking this class was a waste. buenooo

being in eddy's pool made me miss my house in west covina sooo much. i miss the pool we had there! i remember having it being built while i was in 3rd grade, as i recall. pools are such splendid things to have in the summer time! amazing idea.

my florida trip is coming up quickly! i still need to pack. boooo, i dread it because i know i am going to forget something essential. and then i won't realize it until it's too late, when we're on the plane flying to the other side of the country. i hope it is a fun trip though! or else i will be disappointed incredibly. vacations should be fun anyways! i'm excited though. i haven't been to florida in several years. however, i'm definitely not excited for the heat and humidity. i could do without that for the rest of my life!

it is against the law to put pretzels in bags in philadelphia. there are such strange laws out there in the world. why would you make a law against such a thing? something bad must have happened when a pretzel was put inside a bag. i can't imagine what though.

OC fair today was funnnnnn
got my head spinning like crazy on all those rides! a couple of them were pretty scary, not gonna lie. even the swings were somewhat frightening. that was because we were so high up in the air though. and it was supaaaaa cold while we were above, seeing the fair at a new point of view! here's a picture i took while on the swings.


i need a new camera! mine won't let me zoom in anymore :( i don't know what's wrong with it but i'm sure that can't be good. my camera is several years old also. it is time for an upgrade to one with more megapixels too! it only has 6 right now. i hope i can convince my parents to get a new one soon because their camera is wayyy older than mine. it can be a "family" camera except i'll use it most of the time! maybeeee, we'll see what happens.

got to see ABDC on tuesdayyyyyyy! it was pretty coooooooool except for waiting in line for hours in the hotness, waiting to walk around warner bros. studios to get to the stage where it was being filmed. it is definitely something i would like to go to again soon! i was able to be inches away from quest crew while we were walking out! i said hi to them :) hawk has such a cute accent! i think it's australian but i don't know for sure. should check that out before i say something wrong and offend him! also saw mario lopez and the judges, JC, Lil Mama, and Shane Sparks, pretty close up as well. i'm glad lynard was able to get those tickets!

mmm, i'm tired but i need to read for my history class. it's almost over! just one more week left and summer school is done!!! it also means that i'm leaving for florida in a little over a week as well. gotta use my free hotel room soon too! i don't know when that will be though. i feel like going to a party ;] i haven't been to one in a while!
anywho, here's today's fun factttttttttttttt

the fastest bicyclist was clocked at 154 mph in 1985. oh my! that's so fast. how do you even move your legs fast enough to get a bicycle to progress at that speed. i can't even imagine. insane for sureeeeeee. that must be such a rush, especially since you're not confined to the interior of a car. i can't even imagine the feeling of going in a car at 154 mph! i'm impressed to say the least.

oh how different our relationship was a couple years back.
i never would have thought it would be like this.
inability to converse about nonsense like we used to.
well, you have someone else & that is okay.
it was bound to happen some day. and you seem to be quite happy, which is good.

sometimes, i miss you as a friend and wish for the return of even half of what i used to know.
it is highly likely you don't feel the same, however, but i have come to terms with that and accepted it.
we always end up seeing each other somehow, though. it brings back a memory of the old, quickly replaced by the reality of the new.
and who knows where this path will lead us next. maybe to become strangers or real "friends"

i'm not sure why i'm writing this and being kinda emo right now. i think it's because i'm so tired and sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy. disillusionment!

i did summer school crap all day. woot for exciting saturdays...NOT.
