chip away

so, it is time to cross a couple things off my monstrous summer list! hoorayyy

7. Play the piano more
53. Hang out with Jason Punzalan
69. Kogi!

there's one that i will not be able to accomplish this summer: 26. Soak City (free tickets). that is because my mom got a letter in the mail saying that they ran out of tickets (she got them originally for buying 4 new goodyear tires) and goodyear compensated by provided my family with 2 free concert tickets to shows at certain venues like the verizon or gibson amphitheater. i'm gonna check it out and see if i wanna see anyone playing at any of those places. it's a pretty good exchange i guess.

kogi was delish, i must say. i wish we didn't have to wait so long for it though! but it would be nice if it came down this way again before the summer is over.

tonight, i ate over a 1000 worth of calories at claim jumper with tiffany and cynthia. oh man, that black tie chicken pasta is so fulfilling! it definitely packs on the pounds though. the three douches, scott, mash, and jason, all got soup in bread bowls, which looked pretty appetizing, not gonna lie! maybe i'll get me some of that next time. it probably wouldn't be as fattening and detremental to my body as the pasta! sean's tri tip also looked quite appealing. man, i sound like such a fatty right now, talking about everyone's food! horribleness. food is like a win-lose situation. you win because you are satisfying hunger needs and providing your body with nutrients it needs. you lose because if you keep eating without working out, you'll end up like so many americans...obese! or overweight. or just simply out of shape! i refuse to become like that. hopefully, i will start working out on a more regular schedule. well, that's the plan at least.

alrighty, time for the fun fact of the day!
koalas and humans are the only animals with unique fingerprints. koalas are such cuties! i'm glad i got to take a picture holding one even if it cost me $13. i want one as a pet. it could totally live with me at UCSD. i mean, there's like hundreds of eucalyptus trees on campus. it would be lovely!
